🥈 Silver Medal – Individual Junior Male Sparring
Defeating competitors from Slovenia, Bulgaria, Wales & Norway 💥
🥉 Bronze Medal – Team Junior Male Sparring
Fantastic wins over Scotland & Germany, narrowly missing out to Romania in a thrilling semifinal 👏🔥
This prestigious championship ran over 5 days and featured an incredible 1,453 athletes from 32 countries 🌍⚡ — a huge stage, and Ben rose to the occasion in style!
An outstanding achievement on his first time representing Ireland with the Irish Taekwon-Do Association at European level 🇮🇪
A massive congratulations to Ben — a phenomenal performance and a very bright future ahead! 🚀🥋

A terrific week was had by two of our TY students, A terrific week was had by two of our TY students, Shane Kavanagh and Jack Phelan as they embarked on a fascinating insight into the world of South East Technological University. 

The boys observed the role of Finance in SETU and in particular the financing of research projects. They visited the South Eastern Applied Materials Research Centre (SEAM), Pharmaceutical & Molecular Biotechnology Research Centre (PMBRC) as well as the Humanities Department, College Street. To top it all off the boys got to participate in two Business Finance lectures also. 

We are very grateful to SETU for the fantastic opportunity given to our lucky students. Shane and Jack were wonderful ambassadors for De La Salle College all week and we are very proud of them! Well done to you both!

Our TY students had an incredible day exploring the vibrant campus at UL! From walking through the beautiful grounds to experiencing the state-of-the-art facilities, it was a fantastic opportunity to get a real feel for university life.

A highlight of the visit was the tour of the amazing sports campus 🏃‍♂️ — truly world-class and inspiring for students of all interests and abilities!

Students also attended an engaging talk on the wide range of degree programmes available, giving them valuable insight into future pathways and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. 🎓

A brilliant day of learning, discovery, and a real taste of campus life — plenty of inspiration for the journey ahead!

What a fantastic day for our 1st and 2nd Year JCSP What a fantastic day for our 1st and 2nd Year JCSP students. 
The day kicked off with a beautiful guided tour of the Japanese Gardens 🌸, followed by lots of laughs and splashes in Splashworld 💦. After working up an appetite, everyone enjoyed a well-earned hot lunch in Massimos 🍕, before finishing the day on a high at the driving range ⛳️
Everyone had lots of fun, and great memories all around – a day to remember.
