Having teamed up with the Walsh’s Nissan dealership in Waterford, ticket holders will be in with the chance of winning one of six Nissan Note cars, valued at €18,245 each. A second prize of €2,000, a third prize of €1,000, fourth prize of €500 and a runners up prize for five people of €100 are also all up for grabs in the Development Draw which will take place each month from July to December inclusive.

School Principal Margaret Betts outlined that the school is in need of essential funding for specific projects, “De La Salle College Waterford with a student body of 1165 has a long and proud tradition of providing top quality education in the Waterford area. At this stage in our development the College is in need of upgrading in many significant areas to enable us to continue providing this top class education.

To finance these developments, the College Board of Management is launching this major fund-raising draw. This draw will start the process of investment in the upgrading of school facilities in the following areas; practical subject facilities, school sports hall and sports facilities, IT equipment and subject resources.

We are appealing to our current student body, our past pupils and their friends and families, and the people of Waterford to come on board to help raise the essential funding required.”
